The highly anticipated festival celebrates LOCAL blueberry farms with fresh berries, plants, crafts and lots of blueberry-based foods.
MOUNT DORA, Fla. - Nyenta -- The 11th annual Mount Dora Blueberry Festival is scheduled for April 26 & 27, 2025 in Donnelly Park and the local blueberries are sweet, ripe and ready.
Event Coordinator Janet Gamache says, "We highlight local farms, so the weather is crucial to the timing of the event. If conditions aren't right, the local berries might not be ready in time for our annual festival." This year the berries are perfectly ripe, and blueberry farms that will be selling their berries at the event like Amber Brooke and Far Reach are already offering U-pick at their farms.
Food vendors will offer special inspired treats like blueberry BBQ with blueberry salsa, and blueberry mochi. Blueberry beer and wine will also be available.

Vendors selling a variety of crafts and goods will also be set up inside the park as well as blueberry plants ready to be planted in your yard.
Blueberry pies and baked goods made by students from Umatilla High school will be offered for sale. The goodies will be made from fresh blueberries donated by Amber Brooke Farms and proceeds help to purchase equipment for their school's culinary program.
Register at the INFO booth before 1pm to be entered to participate in the popular Pie Eating contest that will happen at 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Miss Florida Blueberry Samantha Jacobsen will be on site to award the winners of the children and adult divisions fresh blueberry pies on Saturday. There is NO entry fee to participate.
A free shuttle will run on Sat and Sun from 900 Lincoln Ave. Mount Dora, FL.
Donnelly Park is located at 530 N. Donnelly St. Mount Dora, FL. The event runs 9am to 5pm both days and is FREE to attend. www.MountDoraBlueberryfestival.com
