Game 1 of TBL Playoffs is set for the Albany Patroons vs the Newfoundland Rogues in Newfoundland, Canada

ALBANY, N.Y. - Nyenta -- The Albany Patroons swept the Atlantic City Gambits winning The Basketball League Northeast Division title for the 2nd straight season.

The Patroons now travel to Canada taking on the Newfoundland Rouges for the TBL East Conference title, in a best of 3 series. Game 1 will take place at the Mary Brown's Centre Arena this Friday, June 9th with tip off at 5:30pm ET.

The series then moves to Albany for game 2 on Monday, June 12th (tip off 7pm) at the Washington Avenue Armory. If necessary, game 3 will be played Tuesday, June 13th at the Armory. The winner moves on to a Regional series, then the TBL Finals. 8 teams (of 49) remain in the TBL playoffs.

The Patroons finished the regular season at 20-4, and are now 3-0 in the playoffs. All games are broadcasted on TBLTV.tv.

Tickets to Monday's game 2 are available online at patroonsbasketball.com and at the Armory box office. Discounted tickets can be purchased at select Price Chopper and Market 32 locations throughout the postseason. Kids 12 and under are always free courtesy of Capital Bank.
