NEW YORK, June 20, 2025 ~ New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA) has announced the appointment of Andrew Finkelstein as its new President. Finkelstein, a renowned trial attorney who leads five major law firms in New York and Massachusetts, will officially begin his term on July 1, 2025.

The announcement was made during NYSTLA's Annual Gala, held on June 18 at the prestigious Cipriani 42nd Street in Manhattan. The event was attended by a diverse crowd of attorneys, lawmakers, and advocates for civil justice. Special guest U.S. Representative Dan Goldman (NY-10) addressed the audience and praised Finkelstein's leadership.

Finkelstein is the head of Finkelstein & Partners; Jacoby & Meyers; Fine, Olin & Anderman; and Finkelstein, Blankinship, Frei-Pearson & Garber, LLP – all renowned for their unwavering dedication to advocating for injured individuals and consumers.

Expressing his gratitude for the appointment, Finkelstein said, "As NYSTLA President, I am honored to lead an organization that stands at the forefront of protecting the rights of New Yorkers. In a time when access to justice is threatened by corporate interests, NYSTLA is growing stronger and remains committed to ensuring every New Yorker has their day in court. Together, we will continue to stand up for the vulnerable and challenge injustice."
