~ New Rochelle, NY - The New Rochelle Police Department is gearing up for their upcoming police exam on September 28, 2024. In an effort to attract a new generation of officers, the department has launched a new website, NPRDHireMe.com, as part of their recruitment campaign.

Police Commissioner Robert Gazzola expressed the department's goal to inspire and invite individuals to join them in serving the community. The website features photos and videos showcasing the various jobs and specialties available within the department, as well as highlighting the benefits of a career in law enforcement. Gazzola stated that their message is both an outreach and a challenge for potential applicants to consider their motivation for taking the test.

The website, which can also be accessed through a QR code on many police vehicles, aims to showcase the New Rochelle Police Department's national and international recognition for excellence. Over the years, they have received numerous awards for Quality in Law Enforcement and Community Policing. Additionally, the City of New Rochelle has consistently ranked as one of the safest cities among similarly-sized municipalities nationwide.
