BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Nyenta -- From August 25 through 31, 2023, Eyes on Art Group (EoA) will present a group show exhibiting works by New York-based artists, titled At Summer's End.
Summer's End is a time for contemplation, cherishing beloved memories, embracing the present moments, and eagerly anticipating future endeavors. As the warm weather envelops us, memories will dance, rekindling childhood joys or revisiting past experiences, while empowering us to focus on the exciting steps that lie ahead. For the exhibition "At Summer's End" we invite artists from all mediums to embrace the fullness of summer's spirit and share their creations with us.

Organized by EoA, the show will exhibit more than 20 works. The gallery located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn will showcase various mediums of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and a video installation.

"An exciting part of developing this exhibition was searching for its historical meaning, seeing how artists in the past have tackled this subject matter, many of which used the changing of seasons, particularly the end of summer, to symbolize the impermanence of life and the cyclical nature of existence. And in turn, seeing the contrast and similarities in the approach of the contemporary artists participating in this exhibition." — Andrea Sofia Matos, Lead Curator.
Eyes on Art is a collective of artists, art enthusiasts, art directors, art collectors, and educators with over a decade of experience in the art and design industries. Formed in 2021 while participating in a community art event with a vision of connecting friends and colleagues to showcase their work. The vision was expanded in 2022 when we grew our vision to our local communities in Brooklyn and Queens, New York, and created our first group event called *Now You See What I See.
Artists: Alexandre Barranco, Brennan Vickery, Daniel Rodriguez, Diego Espaillat, Elif Usuloglu, Emily Wisniewski, Erin Kate Archer, Eva Deolmo, George Spencer (GREATBOXERS), Hiroshi Shafer, Javier Enrique Piñero, Jessi Olarsch, Jessica Ziegler, Jonathan Yubi, Julia Grayson, Lia Defranco, Liz Schneider-Cohen, Lydia Zoells, Natália Oliani, Nathalie Basoski, Rodrigo Veloso, Sara Messinger, Scott Semler.
