Steve Hilst: Partner, California Trial Lawyer Brian Chase: Managing Partner, Trial Lawyer Brian Chase Announces Partnership Bisnar Chase Personal Injury Attorneys
Newport Beach personal injury law firm of Bisnar Chase names attorney Steve Hilst as partner. Hilst has been with the firm since 2016.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - Nyenta -- Attorney Steve Hilst has been named partner at the Newport Beach personal injury law firm of Bisnar Chase. Hilst joined the firm in 2016, and has secured multiple seven and eight figure results in product defect, premise liability and personal injury cases.

"I'm proud to stand with this team of attorneys who don't just value success, but also treat people with dignity, respect and compassion," Hilst said. "The reason I came to Bisnar Chase was to work with a team that goes above and beyond to fight for clients' rights, and is not afraid to stand up to large corporations."

Hilst has seen personal injury law from the perspective of plaintiffs as well as large companies. He used to represent corporations such as insurance companies. He saw injured people being deprived of compensation and being denied justice. That is why, he says, working for a personal injury law firm like Bisnar Chase has been so fulfilling, and continues to drive his career with purpose and intention.

"When you are a personal injury lawyer or when you represent individuals who have been harmed by product manufacturers that put profits before people, you see not only how you have helped these people and their families," he said. "You also see how these legal actions help build awareness around dangerous products and how it holds negligent parties accountable for their actions. It's not just about compensation. It's also about justice."

Brian Chase, senior partner at Bisnar Chase, said Hilst impressed him right away with his passion for the pursuit of justice and his heart in helping others.

"Steve has had an amazing success rate, and I really admire the energy and expertise he brings to each case," he said. "It is my honor to have him as a partner, and I'm excited about our firm's future."

Hilst was born in a small town in Central Illinois, in the area where President Abraham Lincoln practiced as a lawyer. His family moved to Southern California when he was 3. Hilst obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California in 1984 and a Doctorate law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1988. He also holds a post-doctorate law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
