NEW YORK - Nyenta -- Award-winning multi-instrumentalist and composer Onel Mulet unveils his latest sound art experience, Brazilian Morning: The Yin Mix — a genre-bending journey designed to center, soothe, and elevate the spirit. Drawing from the lush rhythmic textures of Brazil and guided by the introspective philosophy of Yin energy, this immersive work invites listeners into a meditative soundscape that bridges culture and consciousness.

Part of Mulet's ongoing "Music for Healing" project, The Yin Mix is not just music — it is ceremony. A blend of analog warmth and digital clarity, the piece weaves gentle percussion, airy woodwinds, and ambient field recordings from the Brazilian coast into a tranquil composition that slows the heart rate and awakens inner stillness.

"Brazilian Morning is what sunrise in Brazil sounds like," says Mulet. "It's about honoring the slow power of the feminine, the receptive, the breath between notes."

A seasoned musician and award winning filmmaker of Cuban heritage, Mulet has spent decades shaping sound for both stage and screen. His work has appeared on HBO, Showtime, and PBS, and he has performed at iconic venues from Carnegie Hall to Lebanons Beiteddine Festival. With The Yin Mix, he continues his mission to use music not just as entertainment, but as medicine.
