Public Market Kicks off Holiday Event Schedule This Week
– The Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St., will begin its annual holiday event schedule this week. The market will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Market will be closed Thursday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. But the Market will be open from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday for a regular Market Day Tuesday and Wednesday for a special pre-holiday opportunity for shoppers in search of those fresh, delectable ingredients that can be found only at the Public Market.
The Market will be open from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday for a regular Market Day Saturday; and then from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday to kick off the annual Holidays at the Market event series.
The series continues from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays Dec. 4 and 11. A new Holidays at the Market evening event will be held in collaboration with the Market District Business Association from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 16.

With the exception of Thanksgiving, regular Market Days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturdays from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Vending spots are still available for special events and regular Market days during the holiday season. Interested vendors can call the Market office at 428-6907, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, or visit www.cityofrochester.gov/marketvendors/ for more information.
