~ As summer comes to a close, the City of Rochester Public Market is gearing up for its annual event, the Greatest Community Garage Sales and Super Fleas. This year's event will take place on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the market's location on 280 N. Union St.
The event will continue for four more Sundays throughout the summer and fall, giving treasure hunters ample opportunities to discover bargains from dozens of vendors. From new and used clothing to tools, home décor, sporting goods, vintage collectibles, and artwork, there will be a boundless variety of items available for purchase.
In addition to shopping, patrons can also take a break and enjoy a quick snack or meal at one of the market's coffee shops, cafes or food stands. And for those looking to make some extra cash or fundraise for their non-profit or community organization, vending spaces are available for purchase at just $35 per day for a 10-foot x 30-foot stall.
