Descripción del Proyecto

En CUMIC nos enorgullece suministrar acero para el contrato N109A del Corredor Norte–Sur (NSC) de Singapur, un proyecto de infraestructura transformador diseñado para mejorar la movilidad urbana y la sostenibilidad. Este contrato abarca el diseño y la construcción de un túnel de carretera de doble calzada con tres carriles por sentido, con una longitud de 800 metros, entre Sin Ming Avenue y Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3. Este tramo forma parte integral de los 21,5 km del NSC, el primer corredor de transporte integrado de Singapur, que contará con carriles exclusivos para autobuses, rutas principales para ciclistas y caminos peatonales, destinados a servir a los usuarios del transporte público, la movilidad activa y los peatones.

En este proyecto clave, suministramos 1.504 toneladas de vigas en H de acero estructural S355JR, un material de alta resistencia esencial para la construcción del túnel y estructuras asociadas. Reconocido por su excelente soldabilidad, maquinabilidad y alta resistencia a la tracción, el acero S355JR en formato de viga H es ideal para proyectos de infraestructura a gran escala que requieren durabilidad y resistencia. Una vez finalizado, el corredor mejorará significativamente la conectividad, reducirá los tiempos de viaje y fomentará modos de transporte sostenibles.
