Encore Une Fois NY
Amidst a sustainable fashion boom, particularly among Gen Z, Encore Une Fois, a curated thrift boutique in Oyster Bay, is pleased to announce the expansion of the Y2K section within its store. The boutique, recently featured in Newsday, caters to the growing demand for sustainable fashion and vintage styles reminiscent of the early 2000s.

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. - Nyenta -- The Y2K section is the brainchild of 15-year-old Madeleine Ruiz, the Fashion Director at Encore Une Fois. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant fashion scenes of NYC's Ludlow area and London's Brick Lane, Madeleine has spent months curating a collection that captures the iconic essence of the early 2000s. The new section features sought-after pieces such as Miss Me jeans, Juicy Couture tracksuits, Baby Phat and Harley-Davidson baby tees, all selected to align with current trends while promoting sustainability.

"Y2K fashion is more than just a trend; it's a vibe," says Madeleine Ruiz. "Blending nostalgic elements with today's styles allows us to create something truly unique and exciting for our customers."

Encore Une Fois is committed to sustainability and plans to host several "Fill-a-Bag" events in 2025. These events will offer customers the opportunity to purchase unique fashion items at great values, further encouraging the community to embrace sustainable shopping practices.
