ALBANY, N.Y., Sept. 4, 2024 ~ Farm Aid, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting family farmers, has announced that its annual music, food, and farm festival will be broadcast live on SiriusXM and streamed on FarmAid.org. The event, known as Farm Aid 2024, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Broadview Stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York.
According to Carolyn Mugar, executive director of Farm Aid, the organization is excited to welcome the passionate and generous audience that joins them from home each year. She expressed gratitude for the continued support of SiriusXM and the opportunity to share both the music from the festival stage and stories of New York farmers with family farm supporters and music lovers everywhere.
In addition to performances by Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews (with Tim Reynolds), and Margo Price, the festival will also feature other notable artists such as Mavis Staples, Lukas Nelson with The Travelin' McCourys, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Charley Crockett, Joy Oladokun, Southern Avenue, Cassandra Lewis, Jesse Welles, Kontiwennenha:Wi and the Wisdom Indian Dancers.

For those unable to attend in person or listen on SiriusXM radio (Willie's Roadhouse channel 61 or Dave Matthews Band Radio channel 30), Farm Aid will also be livestreaming the full festival on their website and YouTube channel starting at 11:30 a.m. ET. The livestream will include a press event featuring conversations between farmers and artists from across New York.
To further engage fans at home in supporting family farmers, Farm Aid has partnered with digital fundraising platform Fandiem to offer an "Ultimate VIP Experience Trip" giveaway. Fans can donate online for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Farm Aid 2024, including two VIP Experience tickets with access to the VIP Experience club and more. A limited number of VIP Experience seats are also available for purchase on Farm Aid's website.
For updates on the event, fans can follow Farm Aid on social media and use the hashtags #FarmAid2024 and #Road2FarmAid. The organization's mission is to build a vibrant, family farm-centered system of agriculture in America.
