LOS ANGELES, July 18, 2024 ~ Pacsun, a popular clothing brand among young adults, has launched its highly anticipated Fall campaign titled "Better in Baggy." The campaign showcases the brand's latest denim styles through the eyes of The Pacsun Collective, a group of stylish and creative individuals from the brand's consumer community.
The Pacsun Collective is a unique concept that fosters a deep connection between the brand and its youth community through co-creation. With a year-round submission process available on Pacsun's website, the Fall campaign features models sourced from this collective, giving them an opportunity to be a part of the brand's creative vision.
According to Addie Rintel, Vice President Women's Merchandising & Design at Pacsun, "Our Fall campaign is a celebration of self-expression and individuality. This season, we're introducing a larger collection of novelty embellished denim, due to overwhelming demand for those styles from our community. These pieces are designed to empower our customers to express themselves through style, especially as they head back to school."

The shift towards baggy and loose-fits shows a movement towards comfort and individuality in fashion. To bring the campaign to life, Pacsun has partnered with Pinterest to create interactive store window displays and engage audiences through digital and social marketing as well as event collaborations. One such initiative is an exclusive influencer experience in Upstate New York where several influencers and content creators will be hosted for a full day of immersive activities in the scenic Hudson Valley.
The attendees will have the opportunity to customize denim and shoes, stock up on beauty essentials at a beauty bar, create personalized flower arrangements at a floral bar, relax poolside in Pacsun swimwear, and enjoy live performances from Pacsun Collective artists and a movie night. This collaboration between Pacsun and Pinterest allows the brand to leverage the visual platform of Pinterest to inspire and engage its audience with shoppable content.
