Wells is slated for a screening block beginning at 3:30 PM, followed by his 4:00 PM interview where he will discuss DIY filmmaking, social commentary, and independent horror.

The Elimination Strain & High-Concept Thrills

The cornerstone of the presentation is the screening of the short film proof-of-concept for the feature-length script, Elimination Strain. The screening directly builds buzz for the Elimination Strain feature script, an official selection of the prestigious Austin Film Festival, which Wells will be attending.

The feature is pitched as a timely thriller: A delusional killer, motivated by extreme online conspiracy theories, targets those deemed "compromised," leaving a path of gruesome carnage that a lone goth student must survive and expose.
