NEW YORK ~ New York - FOX News Channel's chief political anchor and executive editor of Special Report, Bret Baier, will be conducting an exclusive interview with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday, February 22nd at 6 PM/ET. The interview will take place in Ukraine and will be aired on Special Report.
This will be the first time Zelenskyy has been interviewed at the frontlines of combat since the war started on February 24, 2022. Baier will speak with the president about the two-year anniversary of the war, the ongoing debate in Congress regarding additional funding for Ukraine, and the latest developments in the conflict. He will also accompany Zelenskyy as he receives a military briefing, presents medals to soldiers, and visits wounded troops in the hospital.
In addition to this exclusive interview, Baier will also highlight his colleagues who have been covering the war since its inception. He will honor Benjamin Hall, Pierre Zakrzewski, and Oleksandra Kuvshynova who were hit by a Russian projectile while reporting on the start of the war. Tragically, Zakrzewski and Kuvshynova lost their lives while Hall was severely injured.

On Friday, February 23rd, Special Report will feature a segment documenting the impact of the war through interviews with Ukrainians on the ground. The focus will be on life in Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine. Baier will be joined by Jerusalem-based correspondent Trey Yingst and Benjamin Hall to discuss their experiences covering this conflict zone and emphasize the importance of on-the-ground reporting.
