Fray Fitness, a premium strength and conditioning equipment provider, has partnered with Truemed, a leading health savings enablement platform, to allow customers to purchase qualifying fitness equipment using HSA and FSA funds. This collaboration enables more Americans to invest in their health with tax-advantaged dollars.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Nyenta -- In a bold step toward making wellness more accessible, Fray Fitness is now offering customers the option to use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to purchase eligible equipment. Powered by Truemed's telehealth platform, this partnership makes it easy for customers to receive a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) and gain HSA/FSA approval for equipment that supports physician-recommended treatment for conditions like obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and rehabilitation needs.

Customers can shop as usual at Fray Fitness, select the Truemed option at checkout, and complete a short clinical intake form. If approved, they will receive the documentation to use pre-tax HSA/FSA funds through direct card payment or reimbursement. The Truemed process typically takes less than 24 hours and is backed by licensed medical professionals.

This opportunity aligns with evolving healthcare policy that acknowledges exercise and fitness equipment as legitimate treatment tools for chronic conditions. By leveraging tax-advantaged accounts, qualified individuals can reduce out-of-pocket costs by up to 40%, making professional-grade fitness equipment more affordable.

"Fray Fitness is committed to helping people lead stronger, healthier lives," said a company spokesperson. "This partnership with Truemed allows us to remove financial barriers and empower more customers to invest in their long-term wellness."

The partnership covers a wide range of Fray products, racks, barbells, plates, cardio equipment, and accessories, as long as they meet eligibility requirements under IRS guidelines for medical necessity.
