The Hancock mural reflects the natural beauty of the Upper Delaware region while highlighting the connection between people, pollinators, and local ecosystems. Located beside the EVolve NY Electric Vehicle Charging Station and adjacent to the Hancock Hounds Dog Park, the mural creates a strong visual gateway for residents and visitors entering the community.
The site was selected to represent Hancock's continued investment in sustainability, tourism, recreation, and economic development. The EVolve NY station has become a highly visible clean transportation hub, while surrounding public spaces continue to grow as a destination for both residents and travelers.
This project was a true community collaboration, bringing together local students, educators, families, and regional artists. Young participants worked alongside professional muralists, contributing ideas and helping bring the artwork to life—creating not just a mural, but a shared experience of creativity and local pride.
