NEW YORK - Nyenta -- Qobuz, the Hi-Res music streaming and download service, is partnering with the Soul-Funk-R&B legends Tower of Power to bring listeners an exclusive live album, 50 Years of Funk & Soul: Live at the Fox Theater — Oakland, CA — June 2018. Recorded to celebrate the group's 50th anniversary, the album will be available exclusively on Qobuz for a month beginning February 26th.

As the first exclusive album campaign through Qobuz USA, this release marks the next phase in the company's pursuit to bring listeners the best quality sound and editorial content across every music genre. During the Qobuz exclusive period, PBS will air a TV broadcast of the Live at the Fox Theater show on stations nationwide.

Catering especially to die-hard music fans, Qobuz offers in-depth essays (exclusive "Panorama" interactive articles), liner notes, lyrics, and other materials that Soul, Jazz, Classical, and Rock fans can't find on any other streaming service. Expanding into virtual events for music and audio fans now, too, Qobuz recently hosted the 'John Coltrane at 60' panel, which featured some of the foremost Jazz experts/musicians of our time including Coltrane collaborator Archie Shepp, Grammy-winning Coltrane historian Ashley Kahn, and more.
