NEW YORK - Nyenta -- The Find Your ID NYC (https://fyidnyc.com/) podcast Identity delivered another electric and thought-provoking show this past Wednesday night as hosts Tarik and Caleb welcomed Chelsea Webster to the Identity Podcast.
The last episode featured Chelsea Webster, an environmental organizer, and advocate for the show. Topics discussed included: the journey of becoming herself, environmental injustices, and her campaign experience.
Chelsea Webster is the lead organizer for the Greenpeace Vancouver Local Group, a group that she has been organizing for over a year. Much of 2020 was spent focusing on campaigning for a Green and Just Recovery via bird-dogging, postering outside local MP offices and even a banner drop! In November 2020, Chelsea was invited to take part in the #PassTheMic campaign (https://fridaysforfuture.org/pass-the-mic-sir-d...) alongside global activists asking David Attenborough to commit to climate action by showcasing global climate voices, particularly of those in the most affected regions. As well as being an environmental advocate, Chelsea is on a journey of discovering mental wellness. After struggling with mental illness for over a decade, she finally feels like she understands what genuinely puts her on the path to happiness.
