NEW YORK - Nyenta -- The Board of Trustees of Knology is proud to announce the appointment of Joanna Laursen Brucker as Chief Executive Officer.

A proven leader with over a decade of tenure at the organization, Brucker served as Knology's Chief Operating Officer for eight years and successfully guided the organization as Interim CEO during two leadership changes, most recently since May 2025. Her appointment comes at a time of significant instability for the non-profit sector; yet, under her leadership, Knology has remained operationally strong, strategically focused, and fiscally sound.

"In selecting our next leader, the Board prioritized trust, vision, experience, and the ability to execute," said Antoinette La Belle, Chair of the Board. "Joanna brings all four. She has helped shape our high-performance culture and has the operational track record to get things done. We are confident she is the right leader to guide our strategic expansion."

Brucker's appointment is a testament to Knology's success in using social science to help organizations maximize impacts. Through her decade-long career at Knology, Brucker has forged and strengthened partnerships with a variety of associations and organizations — both at the national and local level. By leading collaborations with museums, libraries, schools, and a variety of other educational organizations, Brucker (a teacher by training) has ensured that Knology's research is partner-centered and grounded in practice. As Knology moves forward, the organization will build on this strong foundation to expand the application of social science research to new sectors.
