Mayoral Candidate, Gonzalo Duran says no on the "City of Yes"

NEW YORK - Nyenta -- On the The Back Room airing in the Bronx on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 8:30pm on Optimum channel 70 and Fios channel 2136 and live online at https://www.bronxnet.org/bxinform, host Lisa Schiffren predicts Mayor Eric Adams runs as a Republican. She says that democratic donors may possibly funnel funds to candidates like Jumani Williams. "I keep hoping that Cuomo gets the democratic nomination. while I don't like or respect him personally, I feel that at least he is a moderate," says Schiffren. According to Schiffren, she would rather see Andrew Cuomo run for Mayor than Jumani Williams because "he is a crazy progressive socialist".

Lisa Schiffren is a Republican speech writer. She currently writes about policy for Newsmax Magazine. She is a writer with a history of working in opinion journalism, politics and policy.  She has worked at daily newspapers, Department of Defense, The White House and written for The NYTimes, Wall Street Journal, National Review, American Spectator, Commentary, Weekly Standard, American Greatness, Daily Caller, etc.
