An Intimate Glimpse at New Love and the Magic of Mundane Moments
NEW YORK - Nyenta -- In a climate where uncertainty and hate has become a too common backdrop of daily life, electro-pop duo, maybesoon — comprised of Jayme Woj and Sarah Alysse — remind us of the importance of slowing down and allowing love to grow in their latest music video for "Hill Street."
Released December 1st, 2023, the duo's sophomore audiovisual captures the magical realism of love's fleeting moments through the lens of old school home videos. Through visceral imagery and poetic lyricism, the music video captures that special time when two people feel really close but aren't sure what comes next. It's like catching a snowflake—beautiful but fleeting.
The inspiration for 'Hill Street' has its roots in Jayme's time living in Glasgow, Scotland. He resided alongside a picturesque steep street, aptly named Hill Street. Those daily walks up and down the street, framed by Scotland's historic ambiance, etched memories that begged to be captured in a song. When Sarah Alysse began composing the music, she channelled those recollections, striving to encapsulate the warmth one feels on a crisp winter morning.
