Maris Equi Mixes Mens Swimwear with Winter Coats On The Runway at NYFW

NEW YORK - Nyenta -- MEDIA ADVISORY

Maris Equi is pleased to announce its participation in New York Fashion Week (NYFW). The NYFW runway show will take place at Sony Hall at 5pm, February 11th. The runway show will be a unique mashup of Maris Equi's new collection of swimwear and winter jackets.

WHAT: Debut of environmentally conscious mens swimwear with new winter jackets during New York Fashion Week
WHO: Maris Equi's latest line is the "Constantine" collection, which will be debuting at NYFW, produced by Runway 7, at the Sony Hall. "Constantine" is a pivotal collection for Maris Equi as it's the first time Maris Equi has featured winter wear. NYFW is also where the brand will be debuting their new luxurious and environmentally conscious swimwear made with recycled fabric by Repreve.

ABOUT MARIS EQUI: Maris Equi is co-owned by Matthew Chess and Rian Ismadia. The two began to pursue fashion design in 2017 when taking sewing classes together. Chess is a Columbus native and Graduate of Ohio University. Ismadia is from Indonesia and studied business at Universitas Gadjah Mada and fashion design at Istituto Marangoni. Maris Equi, which is latin for seahorse, came to life in December of 2017 and began selling in the Fall of 2018. Their designs and styles are inspired by their travels and discovery of world cultures.
