Community Comes Together for the Daniela Conte Foundation Butterfly 5K. Supporting Families Facing Childhood Cancer

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. - Nyenta -- The Daniela Conte Foundation Butterfly 5K returns this year as one of the organization's community events,  bringing families, businesses, volunteers, and supporters together to raise funds for families caring for children facing childhood cancer.

At the heart of the foundation's work is a simple but powerful goal: providing $1,000 grants to families in need, offering immediate relief during some of life's most difficult moments. While $1,000 may not seem like much to some, for families managing medical treatments, travel costs, missed work, and everyday expenses, it can be a true game changer.

"The 5K is a really special time for us," said Katia Conte, Founder. "Outside of the gala, this is when we get to spend time with our community- families, supporters, volunteers, and partners, all of us coming together for the same purpose."

The foundation extends heartfelt appreciation to the many volunteers who help make this event possible each year, including dedicated student volunteers, whose time, energy, and enthusiasm continue to play an important role in bringing the event to life.

Special gratitude is extended to the entire Conte family and the foundation's earliest supporters, whose commitment helped build the organization into what it is today. Through their leadership and the support of this growing community, the foundation has raised awareness to hundreds and thousands of people and supported hundreds of families, with plans to continue expanding its reach in the years ahead.
