P.S. 71 Forest Elementary School will be hosting students from kindergarten to fifth grade while Douglas Space and Science Foundation will be hosting participants from the Science, Technology, Achievement Research camp. These events aim to inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through ongoing collaborations, mentorship opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences.

For over two decades now, astronauts have been living and working aboard the space station conducting various experiments and testing technologies that benefit people on Earth. They communicate with NASA's Mission Control Center in Houston through SCaN's (Space Communications and Navigation) Near Space Network round the clock.

The research and technology investigations taking place aboard the space station are crucial for future missions of the agency. As part of NASA's Artemis campaign, astronauts will soon be sent to the Moon to prepare for future human exploration of Mars. This will not only inspire future explorers but also ensure that the United States remains at the forefront of space exploration and discovery.
