~ New Rochelle is currently seeking qualified individuals to fill two vacancies on the Telecommunications and Cable Advisory Committee. The city is encouraging members of the residential and business community who possess knowledge and/or experience in the field of telecommunications to apply for these positions.
According to the City Code, the committee's responsibilities include evaluating and reporting to the City Council on any developments in the telecommunications industry that may impact the community. Additionally, they will assist and advise the City Council in developing cable telecommunications policies and reviewing proposed cable television franchises.

The committee consists of seven members, each appointed for a three-year term. This is a voluntary position and is not paid by the council.
Interested individuals can apply by submitting a resume and cover letter through the City's website or by downloading an application below. The completed application, along with a cover letter and resume, can also be submitted in person at the Office of the City Clerk located at City Hall during business hours from Monday to Friday between 8:30AM to 4:30PM. All applications must include name, address, contact information, qualifications, and a statement of interest in serving.
