~ New Rochelle, NY- The rich contributions of Italian-Americans were celebrated at a gathering held at City Hall on Wednesday, October 23. The event, which was attended by community members and local officials, aimed to honor the cultural heritage and achievements of Italian-Americans.
The ceremony began with remarks from Carmelina DiMarco, who expressed her pride in the Italian heritage. She highlighted the significant impact that Italy has had on the world through its art, music, food, fashion, cars, and overall beauty.
Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert also spoke at the event and emphasized the importance of diversity in New Rochelle. She acknowledged that while much of the history of Italian-Americans in the city began in the West End, their contributions have been felt citywide.

In his speech, Generoso shared personal reflections about his family traditions and pride in his Italian heritage.
