The New Rochelle Youth Bureau has joined forces with SnapEd New York to introduce a new program aimed at promoting healthy snacking habits for children. Titled "Healthy Bites," the initiative will kick off on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm at City Hall - 515 North Ave, New Rochelle, NY.
The program's main objective is to educate children and their families about the importance of choosing nutritious snacks and making healthy lifestyle choices. Through interactive activities, "Healthy Bites" aims to make learning about healthy eating enjoyable and engaging for children. The ultimate goal is to instill lifelong healthy habits by empowering both children and parents with the necessary knowledge and skills to make nutritious choices.
