Father means different things to different people. They could be someone who has been with you since birth or an uncle, a grandfather or someone you admire and look up to who has been present in your life. A father is a teacher, protector, a mentor, an inspiration, a nurturer, an influencer, a supporter, and most importantly someone who loves you unconditionally. A Tribute to Fathers exhibit will be in conjunction with The Lincoln Park Conservancy and the City of New Rochelle's citywide Juneteenth Celebration - Songs for Our Fathers. We are commemorating this historic event at the same time we are honoring the important relationship we have with our fathers. The submissions should reflect the deep connection between fathers and children, husbands and wives, partners and their kids to celebrate these foundational relationships during this important holiday.
