~ New Rochelle's Youth Bureau is offering summer employment opportunities for local youth and young adults. The program, which runs for six weeks in July and August, will pay participants $16.00 per hour for 20 or 25 hours of work per week. The deadline to apply is May 10.
According to Kelly Johnson, the Executive Director of the Youth Bureau, there are a variety of programs and services available this summer for teens and young adults in New Rochelle. To provide more information about these opportunities, an Open House will be held on April 30th at City Hall. Parents/guardians and students are encouraged to attend one of the two sessions at 5PM or 6PM to ask any questions they may have. Those interested in attending can RSVP and register for a specific time slot on the Youth Bureau's website.
