~ New Rochelle, NY- The City of New Rochelle Department of Parks and Recreation is thrilled to announce the return of their second annual "Burn Off the Bird" Holiday Hike at Ward Acres Park. This free event, which will take place after Thanksgiving Day, offers two sessions on both Saturday, November 30th and Sunday, December 1st.
Residents of all ages are invited to join in on the fun by lacing up their walking shoes and participating in one of two hike sessions each day. The first session will run from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM, followed by the second session from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the beauty of Ward Acres Park while hiking along its accredited trail system with experienced L.L. Bean trail guides.
