~ New Rochelle Police responded to a report of a stabbing victim at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital on September 17th, 2024 at approximately 12:58am. The victim, identified as a 20-year-old male from the Bronx, had driven himself to the Emergency Room and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. According to the victim, his girlfriend had stabbed him in the back while they were at her home on 4th Street in New Rochelle.
Upon arrival at the hospital, police began interviewing the victim. As they were doing so, the suspect arrived and was identified by the victim as his assailant. The suspect, an 18-year-old female from New Rochelle, was taken into custody without incident. During a search of her person, police found a knife that is believed to have been used in the crime.

Further investigation revealed that there was a significant amount of blood in the victim's vehicle, which was secured as evidence. Additionally, a .25 caliber handgun was found in the car. This led to the arrest of two other individuals who were in the car with the stabbing victim when he arrived at the hospital - Tyshawn Jackson (20 years old) and Tyree Anderson (21 years old), both from Bronx, NY.
All three individuals have been charged with various crimes. Danasia Hollis (18 years old) has been charged with Assault in the Second Degree - a D Felony under New York State Penal Law 120.05. Jackson and Anderson have both been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree - a C Felony under New York State Penal Law 265.03.
The suspects were arrested without incident and are currently being held for further questioning and processing by New Rochelle Police Department. More information will be released as it becomes available.
