New Rochelle's 58th annual Thanksgiving Parade will kick off Saturday at 10:00am on North Avenue at Eastchester Road, and proceed entirely along North Avenue, crossing Main Street, and ending at Bonnefoy Place. Come cheer on Mighty Mouse and friends and applaud our honorees, City Manager Chuck Strome and former Parks Commissioner Bill Zimmermann.
Temporary street closures and detours will be in effect along the parade route starting at 6:00am. Please observe the no parking signs, as cars parked on the route will be towed.

Before the Parade, fuel up at the annual Pancake Breakfast from 8:00am to 9:30am in the House IV cafeteria at New Rochelle High School.
And remember, Thanksgiving week will follow a holiday collection schedule, with garbage and trash picked up in the North End on Monday and South End on Tuesday, and commingled recycling citywide on Wednesday. There will be no pickup on Thursday or Friday.
Finally, next week, starting Monday, the taxi drop off area in front of the New Rochelle train station building and the parking spaces closest to the Metro North tracks will be closed for construction of New Rochelle's second annual Holiday Market. The front kiss and ride lot will remain open for taxi and passenger vehicle use. The Holiday Market itself will kick off on Friday, December 2.

See you at the parade. And have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
