"There's a lot to unravel in this poem, though ultimately this poem speaks of various human traits, good and bad, and wanting to overcome the demons within and around us.  This poem acknowledges and fears the evil in this world, and reminds of the importance to know the real enemy in order to find the strength to rise above the horror that can sometimes surround us, so we can break free from bleakness and despair'.
