Rochester Animal Services will hold a free webinar with Dr. Sara Pizano of Team Shelter USA on strategies to save more dogs and cats. The webinar is ideal for those actively involved in animal welfare or those who simply want to help save animals.

Dr. Pizano will discuss the steps that a shelter, whether public or private and regardless of resources, can take to help and save more cats and dogs. Her focus will be on how even a minor change in perspective can make a big life-saving difference.

Dr. Pizano holds a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Cornell University. She founded Team Shelter USA in 2017 to offer a wider scope of services to help shelters of all types and sizes, regardless of their challenges and resources. She is the author of "The Best Practice Playbook for Animal Shelters."
