~ Rochester, NY- This Sunday, September 29th, the International Plaza Market will be hosting a special event to celebrate Latin American Day. The festivities will take place from 12 to 5 p.m. at the International Plaza located at 828 N. Clinton Ave.
The event, sponsored by Bank of America, is part of the city's Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations. According to Jason Barber, the International Plaza Site Manager for Ibero-American Development Corporation, the support from Bank of America has been crucial in creating a diverse and inclusive community event.
"We are incredibly grateful to Bank of America for their continued support of community events that highlight cultural diversity and foster inclusivity," said Barber.
Colleen Matteson, President of Bank of America Rochester, also expressed their commitment to investing in the Rochester community and their excitement for supporting the Latin American celebrations at the International Plaza.
The International Plaza is managed in collaboration with the City of Rochester and Ibero American Development Corporation. It offers a variety of food, merchandise, and entertainment that showcases global cuisine, culture and heritage. In addition, community-based organizations will be present to provide information on services and resources available to residents.

Aside from Market Sundays, the International Plaza is open for lunch on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. The season runs until October 13th and free parking is available on site.
For those interested in becoming vendors at the International Plaza Market, rates start at $20 per week with discounts available for multiple weeks or for the entire season.
