~ The city of Rochester will be observing Presidents Day on Monday, Feb. 17, resulting in the closure of several government offices and services. According to a press release from the city, Rochester City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers, R-Centers, Rochester Animal Services, the Rochester Traffic Violations Agency, and the Honorable Loretta C. Scott Center for Human Services administrative office building at 57 St. Paul St. will all be closed on this day.
However, R-Centers will have special hours during February recess from Tuesday, Feb. 18 to Friday, Feb. 21, opening from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Additionally, Rochester Animal Services will also be closed on Thursday, Feb. 20 for staff training.

Despite the closures, refuse and recycling services will continue as scheduled. The Rochester Public Library branches will also remain open for their normal hours.
For any inquiries or concerns during this time, the 311 Call Center will remain open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., operating under its regular hours. Residents are advised to plan accordingly and take note of these closures and changes in service hours during this holiday period.
