~ The City of Rochester's Department of Recreation and Human Services is hosting an event at the Monroe Community College Downtown Campus to connect youth ages 14-25 with recruiters and community agency representatives. The event will provide job opportunities and applications for the Summer of Opportunity and Summer Youth Employment Program. Parents, guardians, and mentors are welcome to accompany their youth, with free parking available in lot AA on Morrie Silver Way. Participating agencies include the City of Rochester, Common Ground Health, ITEC Training & Education Center, UNiCON Rochester, International Paper, Bricklayers, Heat & Frost Insulators Local 26, United Union of Roofers Local 22, CDS Life Transitions and the Monroe County Board of Elections.
