~ The highly anticipated Holidays at the Market event is returning to the City of Rochester Public Market for its annual three-week run. This beloved seasonal shopping tradition will take place on three consecutive Sundays: December 1st, 8th, and 15th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with an additional evening edition on Thursday, December 19th from 6 to 9 p.m.

As a one-stop shopping destination, Holidays at the Market offers a wide variety of goods from local vendors. Shoppers can expect to find fresh-cut Christmas trees and wreaths, handcrafted items, specialty foods and drinks, clothing, jewelry, and much more. The event also includes fun activities for the whole family such as visits with Santa and carriage rides throughout the market. These activities will take place on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Thursday, December 19th from 6 to 9 p.m.

Vendor spaces are still available for those interested in participating in this festive event. Covered outdoor sheds can be rented for $60 per Sunday or $155 for all three Sundays. The Thursday evening event can be rented for $25 or vendors can opt for the full package of all three Sundays and the Thursday evening event for $175. Applications can be found online at www.cityofrochester.gov/holidaysatmarket or in person at the Market Office located at 280 North Union St.

In addition to all the holiday shopping and activities, visitors can also purchase new market bags at Shed B during market hours. For more information on these bags or to make a purchase, shoppers can visit Shed B during market hours or check out Rochester Public Market's website. Don't miss out on this festive tradition that supports local vendors and brings joy to families during the holiday season!
