~ The City of Rochester has announced the launch of its Micro Soccer program, a new initiative aimed at introducing children to the sport of soccer in a fun and supportive environment. This program, which will be held at the Adams Street R-Center, is open to children in two age groups: 4-5 year olds and 6-7 year olds. The goal of this program is to help young participants build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and discover the joy of playing soccer. With sessions taking place on Wednesdays from 5:00-5:45 p.m. for ages 4-5 and 6:00-6:45 p.m. for ages 6-7, families have the perfect opportunity to introduce their children to soccer while also fostering community connections. For more information on how to register for this exciting program, visit the Recreation department's website.
