~ After being informed of the challenges faced by residents of Danforth and Hudson Ridge Towers, a journalist has reached out to the State and other involved parties for clarification. The journalist has expressed their support for residents to continue living in their homes as much as possible. Although these Towers are not under the management of the City of Rochester, the journalist believes that it is their responsibility to ensure that residents are treated with respect and do not lose access to essential housing and support services. During a visit to Hudson Ridge Towers this afternoon, the journalist reiterated their support directly to the residents. They have also stated that this issue will remain a top priority until it is resolved.
