~ The city of Rochester is mourning the loss of one of its dedicated public servants, Victor Saunders. Saunders, a member of the City's Senior Management team and close advisor to many, passed away today. His colleagues and friends are devastated by the news.

Saunders was not only a respected colleague but also a dear friend to many. The Mayor, who considered Saunders as one of his closest advisors, expressed his heartbreak over the loss. However, he also shared his gratitude for being able to spend Saunders' final moments with him and his family.

Saunders played a crucial role in launching the Office of Violence Prevention and expanding the Pathways to Peace Program in Rochester. He was also a key member of the Rochester Peace Collective. His dedication to promoting peace and uplifting the community will be greatly missed.

In addition to his professional achievements, Saunders was known for living by the words of the hymn "May the Works I've Done Speak for Me." He leaves behind a legacy of great works that will continue to speak for him.

The thoughts and prayers of the community are with Saunders' family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
