~ The City of Rochester Public Market is gearing up for the upcoming Holidays at the Market event series, with dozens of vendors already registered. Local artists, designers, jewelers, crafters and other merchants of distinctive goods are encouraged to register soon for this unique seasonal shopping experience.
The event series will take place 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sundays, Nov. 26, Dec. 3 and Dec. 10; and from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday Dec. 14 at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St. It offers business startups, home- and studio-based microenterprises and boutique retail stores an ideal opportunity to reach thousands of motivated shoppers eager to find unique holiday gifts with local appeal.
Vendors will offer holiday-themed products such as fresh-cut trees and wreaths, specialty foods and beverages, clothing, jewelry, handcrafted goods and other unique items. Adding to the festive atmosphere will be visits from Santa and horse-drawn carriage rides from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m on the Sunday dates; while the Thursday evening event is held in collaboration with Market District Business Association featuring shopping specials, visits from Santa and carriage rides as well.

Vendor spaces are $60 per stall per Sunday; $25 per stall for the Thursday event; $160 per stall for all three Sundays; or $175 per stall for all three Sundays and the Thursday event on a first-come first-served basis so interested vendors are encouraged to apply early for reservations which fill quickly. Applications are available online at www.cityofrochester/holidaysatmarket or in person at the Public Market Office located in the center of the market itself
