CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - Nyenta -- Canandaigua, New York – Author and entertainment producer Rollond Eddy is capturing hearts this holiday season with his enchanting new children's book series, Tales from the North Pole. Featuring The Elf Chronicles, Finding Snowflake, and the upcoming Santa's Reindeer Story – The Beginning, this growing universe of holiday stories is bringing magic to families through books, immersive train shows, and soon, streaming film adaptations.
With over 30 years of experience in tourist railroad events and live entertainment across the Northeast, Eddy has turned his passion into a full-scale holiday franchise. His interactive books are now being adapted into live theatrical performances aboard holiday trains, with a full tour launching in 2026.

A streaming film adaptation of The Elf Chronicles and Finding Snowflake is also in development through a partnership with California-based production company Hollywood Media Bridge. Both screenplays are written by Keoni Waxman, a Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) screenwriter best known for family and adventure films.
"These stories are more than books—they're experiences," says Eddy. "Families can read together, ride a Christmas train together, and soon, even watch the stories come to life on screen. That's the real magic of the holidays."

In a humorous twist, it's the cheerful elf Jingles who stumbles upon a special group of deer—and accidentally coins the term "Reindeer," giving Santa's magical team their forever name.
