90th Annual Meeting Taps Euler Hermes Chief Economist Dan North
to Deliver Keynote Address

NEW YORK - Nyenta -- The Inland Marine Underwriters Association (IMUA) announced the agenda for its upcoming 90th Annual Meeting & Educational Symposium.  To be held on Tuesday, May 25th and Wednesday, May 26 from 1 pm to 5 pm, this year's annual meeting is going virtual.

The IMUA theme, The Pivot, reflects the association's continuing efforts over the past year to engage its members during the pandemic with a variety of e-learning professional development opportunities.

This year's meeting will feature a diverse educational agenda beginning with Dan North, Chief Economist at Euler Hermes, IMUA's keynote speaker.  Mr. North's address will touch on the outlook for the US Economy.

In announcing its Annual Meeting, IMUA President and CEO, Kevin O'Brien, said, "Restrictions placed upon us because of the Covid-19 pandemic have forced us to rethink how we can best serve our membership. This past year we instituted an aggressive e-learning program that enabled our members to stay up to date with trends facing our industry.  The overwhelming enthusiasm for this program naturally led us to hold our annual meeting virtually this year.  We are once again pleased to offer a diverse array of topics that are extremely relevant to today's inland marine environment."
