Conversations with Artists, Creatives, and Changemakers Using Their Creativity for Good; First episode airs Wednesday, May 7 featuring Lin-Manuel Miranda

NEW YORK - Nyenta -- The Town Hall, New York City's landmark cultural venue, is teaming up with The Spark File, the acclaimed creativity podcast hosted by Susan Blackwell and Laura Camien, to launch a brand-new podcast series: The Town Hall Spark Sessions.

Debuting Wednesday, May 7, 2025 on the Broadway Podcast Network and wherever you get your quality podcasts, The Town Hall Spark Sessions will spotlight creatives, musicians, comedians, artists, advocates, cultural creators and conversation makers who have graced—or are about to grace—the legendary Town Hall stage.

Each episode features fun and fulfilling questions that dive deep into how these inspiring individuals are using their creativity not only to entertain, but to spark change, connection, and meaningful impact.

"We're thrilled to partner with The Spark File to highlight the creative forces that make The Town Hall such a unique and vital space," said Melay Araya, Artistic Director of The Town Hall. "This podcast will pull back the curtain on the minds of artists who are shaping culture and community."

"As artists and creative coaches, we're always looking for conversations that reveal how creativity intersects with purpose and positive impact," said hosts Susan Blackwell and Laura Camien. "The Town Hall Spark Sessions is a celebration of that intersection—and of the iconic stage that makes it possible."

Episode 1 of The Town Hall Spark Sessions features a conversation with Lin-Manuel Miranda about legacy, creativity, and the upcoming Spring Shout — a once-in-a-lifetime benefit concert at The Town Hall honoring him. While Lin-Manuel has been kept in the dark about the creative content of the show, Spring Shout features fresh collaborations, creative reunions, and surprise performances by an extraordinary cast composed of Lin-Manuel's creative extended family.
