NEW YORK, March 24, 2025 ~ Jeonju, South Korea - Tishman Speyer, a global real estate investment firm managing assets for the National Pension Service (NPS), has officially opened a liaison office in Jeonju and commenced operations. This marks the second time an international real estate asset management firm has established an office in the city.

The opening ceremony of Tishman Speyer's Jeonju liaison office was held on the afternoon of March 24th in Manseong-dong, Jeonbuk-do. The event was attended by NPS Chairman Kim Tae-hyun, as well as Tishman Speyer's CEO Rob Speyer, Co-Head of Global Equity Capital Markets Fred Waldeck, Head of Asia ex-China and India Graham Mackie, and Head of Korea Alex Koh.

The establishment of this liaison office highlights Tishman Speyer's commitment to strengthening its long-term partnership with NPS and expanding its capabilities in South Korea and the Asia-Pacific region. Chairman Kim Tae-hyun also spoke about the significance of this new collaboration, stating "With this new liaison office, we now have a stronger foundation for close collaboration with Tishman Speyer. Building on our 14 years of partnership, we look forward to working more closely with them and contributing to the development of the local community."

Tishman Speyer has roots in a family business dating back over a century and is a leading owner, developer, operator, and investment manager of top-tier real estate in 37 key markets across 11 countries. With over 1,200 professionals managing approximately $65 billion in assets, the company has been entrusted with managing NPS's real estate investment assets since 2011. Tishman Speyer also established its Seoul office in 2022.

The opening of the Jeonju liaison office marks an important milestone for both Tishman Speyer and NPS as they continue to strengthen their partnership and expand their presence in South Korea. This move further solidifies Jeonju's position as a key player in the global real estate market.
