NEW YORK, April 15, 2024 ~ TransPerfect, the leading provider of language and AI solutions for global businesses, has recently been recognized for its outstanding work in entertainment localization. The company received two prestigious Hermes Awards from the Entertainment Globalization Association (EGA) for its exceptional contributions to the industry.
The awards were presented to TransPerfect Media, a division of TransPerfect that specializes in media globalization solutions. The first award was for Best Voice Performance for a Feature, specifically for Julie Mouchel's work in the French version of StudioCanal's "What You Can See from Here." The second award was for Best Localized Song, recognizing TransPerfect's translation and adaptation of "It Takes Two" from DreamWorks Animation's "Trolls Band Together" into Polish.
In addition to these two wins, TransPerfect Media also received nominations in several other categories. These included Best Voice Performance for a Television Series, with recognition going to Franck Sportis and Sebastien Desjours for their work on StudioCanal's "The Orchestra" in French. Other nominations included Best Voice Performance for a Feature, Best Voice Performance for an Animated Feature, Best Dub Audio Mixing for a Series, and Best Overall Dubbing for an Animation.
