~ Two Bear Capital, a venture capital firm investing in biotechnology, bioinformatics, healthcare IT, machine learning and AI, and information security, has opened its New York headquarters within the Alexandria Center for Life Science in New York City. The firm's mission is to create and grow life sciences ecosystems and clusters that will accelerate the world's leading innovators.
The location of the headquarters within the Alexandria Center allows for greater collaboration and access to founders and partners with breakthrough ideas. Two Bear Capital's portfolio company Sanavia Oncology is also headquartered at Alexandria. To lead the New York operations, Two Bear Capital has appointed Mark Adams as a Venture Partner. Adams brings more than 25 years of experience in developing and managing scientific and technical teams to the firm. He received his PhD in Cell Biology from Baylor College of Medicine and a BA in Biology and Computer Science from Oberlin College.
