NEW YORK - Nyenta -- Val Carrique, best known as half of the New Jersey-based DJ/producer duo PolyRhythm, is stepping into the spotlight with the launch of his independent brand and project — CLAVÉ [Son del Sur] — pronounced cla-veh. Carrying forward the signature Afro-Latin and house influences that PolyRhythm is notorious for, CLAVÉ marks Val's evolution as both a solo DJ and a producer, with a refined focus on club-oriented production and rhythm-forward storytelling.

CLAVÉ will make his highly-anticipated solo debut on Friday, September 12th at Speak Softly located at 176 8th Avenue in Manhattan (behind the Coca-Cola door). He will be joining the legendary Hector Romero for an unforgettable night of Afro, House, and Latin house music that bridges cultures and genres.

The project's debut extends beyond the booth.

On September 19th, CLAVÉ will release his first official remix to "Oye Ven" by PolyRhythm and Leonardo Milano de Cuba, dropping exclusively on Traxsource.
